Opportunities

Be a part of a huge storytelling experience. 

  • Advocacy and Outreach Volunteers: Engage in community outreach efforts to raise awareness about the mission of NVCFA, promote educational initiatives, and advocate for reparations for descendants of U.S. chattel slaves.

  • Research Volunteers: Assist in conducting historical research to document the experiences of enslaved individuals and their descendants, contributing to the evidence base supporting reparations efforts.

  • Event Planning Volunteers: Help organize and coordinate events such as seminars, workshops, and conferences focused on topics related to slavery, reparations, and social justice.

  • Fundraising Volunteers: Support fundraising campaigns and initiatives to generate financial resources for NVCFA's advocacy work, including grant writing, donor outreach, and organizing fundraising events.
